End-User Quality Reviews
The End-User Quality Review is a final pass before production release of your new software. Consultants exercise your application in an ad hoc/unstructured fashion. Features are reviewed from the customers’ point of view. It is not intended to be an exhaustive test of all functions, but can be customized to meet your needs. The primary considerations include:
|
Visual Presentation |
|
The
use of color and graphics is appropriate to attract attention; reduce eyestrain;
appeal to the customer. Presentation
is uncluttered. Fonts are
readable. Display is clear and
remains stable when resized or scrolled.
Audio, video, and animation work correctly and are easily viewable. |
|
User Interface |
|
Application is easy to use; it is logical and intuitive. Actions required of the user are obvious and easy to find. Clickable text and objects intuitively represent the function called. |
|
Site Operation |
|
The
paths through the application are logical and can be followed effectively;
help is available when needed. Menus
are intuitive and work as expected.
Forms allow entries requested; field labels are clear and logical. Pages, graphics, and multi-media
attributes load with reasonable speed and accuracy. |
|
Application Functionality |
|
Functions
work as expected. Help is available
when needed. |
